Our story

Mental Health Training has been a leading force in the provision of mental health, abnormal psychology and general psychiatry learning and consultancy for nearly 25 years. It’s energy, commitment, range, depth of knowledge and unique approach to learning sets it apart from others.

Over 500 clients in the corporate, statutory and voluntary sectors, with over 20,000 hours of training delivered to over 55,000 individuals. 

As our client’s knowledge grows, so does our customer base. Clients are predominantly UK based but we’ve supported people across Europe and the world, even as far as Japan, the USA and The Falkland Islands.

Our knowledge leads to making a difference to the lives of people vulnerable to mental health needs. Compassion, trust, skilled support, advocacy and balanced care are key skills woven into every workshop. Our training helps makes others’ lives better.

Who we serve

Mental Health Training serves a wide and divers range of clients and individuals. Clients include supported living, residential care, sheltered and general needs housing, NHS Trusts, CMHT and associated services, national charities, government bodies including social care and AMHP services, The Police and Police custody providers, forensic mental health services, private hospitals and secure unit provision. This list is far from exhaustive!

The training

Whilst we offer a wide range of off-the-peg workshops. In reality, all training is bespoke-delivered to meet your exact needs. This ensures it fits your operational objectives and staffs’ needs. 

All workshops are available as onsite face-to-face training or as a webinar training, typically using Teams. Our consultants are happy to meet on video call to discuss your training needs, and this is offered free of charge.
