MHT09 – Risk Assessment Training – Mental Health Focus
This risk assessment and safeguarding / risk management training and consultancy is designed for to support the learning risk management needs of a wide range or organisations including residential care, supported living, community-based support, social housing and supported living, education settings, national charities, the emergency services and private care companies.
All organisations maintain a duty to manage the safety of service users, patients, staff members and the general public. Lack of knowledge, lack of appropriate resources, poor training and systems errors (or absence of a system) are significant contributors to risk.
Assessment and safeguarding of psychiatric risk is a critically important matter. This training is a mix of knowledge and system advice / implementation. It supports organisations to better identify, control and more effectively safeguard.
Our training and consultancy provides research theory and safeguarding practices. Wherever possible we recommend GRiST – (Galatean Risk and Safety Safety Technology) and offer training to integrate this excellent system into your risk management work.
